Government Senate Leader Chris Evans loses his rag big time as he realises there’s no way a vote will take place today. The Senate has been recalled for Monday at 10 am, by which time hopefully the Coalition will have a new leader and will have decided to dump the whole abomination.

Look on the positive side of this – the unintended consequences of the posturing of these two raving megalomaniacs is that they have actually introduced true democracy into the Australian political system for the first time in living memory. We should have more of this.
Here we have an issue which is actually being debated in the public forum in real time, people’s awareness is increasing (probably exponentially), and leaders are rising and falling in response to public opinion.
At the end of this wall-to-wall media media coverage, no-one will be able to say that they were unaware of the issue or not informed of the consequences of the ETS being implemented – unless they have been on Mars.
How ironic that the ABC (Already Been Censored) – who are frantically trying to sweep the entire ClimateGate issue under the rug – should be one of the primary vehicles for promoting the discussion which will inevitably lead people to question the whole basis of the hoax that they have invested their life’s blood in promoting.
