In all the acres of media coverage of the Coalition’s decision to dump the ETS, 99% of it meekly follows the government line: that the Australian people “want action on climate change” – despite the fact that the action in question, the ETS, will do nothing for climate [I am so sick of writing that – Ed]. The ABC is no different, having already smeared Tony Abbott in various articles, and having hardly reported ClimateGate at all.
So it is interesting that an ABC News Radio poll is currently showing nearly 55%, a sizeable majority, in favour of the Coalition blocking the ETS.

Funny. The Yes vote in your screenshot is 54.7%. It is currently showing 48.2% (and has changed colour..)

Boy oh boy when I investigate this Climategate what a storm in a tea cup. For starters the scientist did not actually resign but is leaving it out to the open until enquiry. This is to cease the rumours and out of context rubbish from thousands of climate denier bloggers worldwide saying all kinds of stupid things regarding it and cloning their words like some rampant computer virus.
The enquiry will set the record straight before all and I looked at and into many of the alledged emails proporting to reveal fraud and truly the out of context interpretations had me rolling on the floor laughing.
One pertains to the “hide the decline” and in context: Hint: Tree ring methodology. What a laugh a minute that one was.
Climategate has a scorpian back bite and those who have relished its contents may well be chewing on live scorpians.
