Can social networking sites in Australia now do to Julia Gillard, and her Government, what they have done in Egypt and other Arab countries whose peoples are now trying to get rid of their mad government leaders?
I should say before I start this post I have no affiliations to any political party’s or hold favour to any of them, I’m just a hard working Australian man with a young family that’s trying to do his best and teach his kids to work hard and have good morals and to do the right thing by others as I was by my parents and lead from example,

This we have always Trusted to our democratically elected government to do on our behalf and I believe up till a number of years ago they did with honour and well meaning and always in the better interest of our great Australia but not anymore, I believe for once the good hard working family Australian public have woken up to what this is really all about but as yet have not put a name to it or dare to as it will show we have made a terrible era of judgment by being hood winked by successive political lunatics’ that have infiltrated all the party’s under cover of darkness and now seem hell bent on destroying all that we as Australians have worked and died for since our conception, when normal people start talking about marching on parliament or revolts it is a worry and all governments should take heed as they are behaving not in a manor they have been explode to by the public and as public servants they have a duty to do what the public tells them to do and not what public servants delusional lunatics’ within there party’s make them do, I truly be leave that the carbon tax is just the straw that broke the camels back and convinced once and for all the Australian public what really is going on within all the parties be that labour, liberals, or the greens but what to do apart from march and revolt on this shambles that we now seem to have put ourselves into and who now can we trust if not our leaders that hold office.
We are at a cross roads unfortunately where we must sift the wheat from the chaff and I for the first time in 56years of life will go on a march to protest, I will have to lose a days pay to do this as I unlike so many government employs do not get any payment when I take a day from my toil but I think it a very worthy cores and one all Australians are bound to, this is a march that should be held in all cities thro out Australia it affects us all and would have a greater impact and show our strength.

She has been charged with treason in the Victorian Supreme Court.

Daniel you are so right, I just wish more people had the same understanding, that the global push for a carbon tax is from the United Nations and their plan for a One World Government. The United Nations IPCC has now been discredited for their so called science on global warming. Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant.

I am deeply disappointed with this government lies, spin and mismanagement. Julia Gillards lies about no carbon tax are the final straw for me. I live I’m Brisbane. I am so unspeakably angry over this that I would like to join a protest if there is one in Brisbane. Could you email me.
People will not use less carbon by puttung a tax on it. A busy Pitza shop will still have to use the same amount of coal based power to produce the same amount of pitzas and so therefor any increase in the pitza shop’s utililty bills must be absorbed by the customer in the form of a price increase or as profit loss. This is only one small example of how carbon tax will increase the price of everything and so people will just stop buying less of everything which can only lead to more unemployment.
Local farming, manufacturing & textile industries will also be affected as people will not have enough money to buy these items as per usual.
What annoys me the most is that the Greens are like a bunch of drunken football supporters who will criticise from the sidelines but not offer any realistic answers to the problems that the team is facing Wind Turbine energy is not realistic. The Government could make it so that every house hold in the country has a solar electric unit in it but I feel that this would cost the Government/Cnsumer a small fortune If we Australians allow the Government to get away with this, than you had better hold on to your hats as I feel with a great deal of certainity that research costs into sensless experimintal projects would just escelate- burning our money away as easily as they like. It’s totally ironic that Senator Bob Brown will be ousted at the next election and he will probably retire on some huge superanuation of say about $500,000 or more a year and most of this money has been generated by the Mining industries that he hates so much. I feel so angry about this issue and I’ve been a staunch Labour supporter for many years but enough is enough. Bring on an Election nexr week is what I say

I strongly appose this carbon tax because it does nothing for the enviroment. It only adds more money to the greedygovernment labour/greens coffers. Think ,when every thing goes up(which it will) of all the gst the government will rake in. Well, I say yes to this tax. The community and industry has had years to improve their polluting lifestyles. It’s unfortunate it has come to this- in the form of legislation, with a tax. I’m a very low income earner- yet have no fear of this proposed action. I want a cleaner greener world. We are not leading the way and it is not a conspiracy. Too much propaganda out there from those with a financial interest, not wanting a better world.

I am sick of this unelected federal government pushing their green socialist agenda on this nation. We have had enough of the lies, the gross mismanagement and the outrageous incompetence of this Labor government. It’s time we voted with our feet on March 23 and got rid of both our prime ministers, Ju-liar Gillard and Bob Green. We are not taking it any more.

I am disgusted with Gillard because she broke her promise not to introduce a carbon tax…whatever the hell that is….just another way to gouge more money from us as far as I can see.
I am disgusted that Bob Brown now tells an illegitimate PM how to run the country now.
I am disgusted with Tony Abbott for not standing up and fighting Gillard with anything other than piss weak personal attacks in Parliament.
I am disgusted that the Greens tail is now wagging the Labor dog.
I am disgusted with about half the Australian people who were stupid enough to vote for Labor or the Greens because they are too intellectually challenged to look at the manifestos of these two political parties and realize that they are determined to destroy our country, our way of life, and our freedom with their backward, self-serving policies.

I am writing to you to beg you to call a double dissolution of the Gillard Government to enable the voters of Australia to decide if we introduce a Carbon Tax or not.
The Gillard Government does not have the mandate of the voters of Australian to introduce any new taxes such as a Carbon Tax or any new Legislation.
The Gillard Government did not win the primary vote.
This Government only has the mandate of the Greens and Independents not the Australian Voters.
This dysfunctional government is harmful to Australia both economically and socially.
Julia Gillard just days prior to the 2010 election lied to the Australia public stating that there would not be a carbon tax under any government she lead.
It is my belief that Julia Gillard is a disgrace to the office of the Prime Minister, not mention the disgusting role model she is to all Australians, especially the young.

This is not a Carbon Tax, it is in fact a Carbon Dioxide Tax and another example of Gillard attempting to con us all. This my friends is Socialism at work. It is time that we not only put a stop to her attempts to impose this insidious Tax but we also demand another election and that this disfunctional government acts as no more than “caretaker” until such an election is held. And to everybody who gave these morons the opportunity form goverment I hope you will have a long memory in subsequent elections and can recall how close we came to becoming a Socialist state.

What’s really going on people?
We need our eyes wide open and our ears – look at the drivel on the news about Charlie Sheen etc – when we should be hearing about the truth of this “tax”, which from all accounts looks like it will actually be an increase in the gst, I knew they’d do this, this is how they will begin to get us to pay for their spending. One might want to know who was a part of the writing of that policy of mass spending and see which part of the business world has done so well even tho the rest of the nation is not- have a close look at westpac.

it’s funny how the labor party has made its way onto this site – we don’t mind, perhaps you too will start to ask questions like – why are the protesters called extremists today and yet you dont have to look very far back in the labor party’s past to see how vehemently they used to protest alongside the unions. Please dont forget that ms gillard was and probably still is a trade unionist.
