Flannery finally flips

Maximo bizzarro. And this nonsense comes from our esteemed Climate Commissioner on a nice little $170k salary from Gillard’s Labor government. It would be hilarious, if it weren’t so serious.

  1. Peter Wardle says:

Where on Earth to begin? This fool is comparing us to ants and micro organisms? Does he not see that global co-operation among humans is so very different from that of ants?
I would love to see greater co-operation among humans, but because, as INDIVIDUALS, we can each contribute something unique. Not just behave as automatons. Flannery describes ants as specialised organisms which are capable of doing only one job. Does that have any parallel to humans? I think not.
This man serves climate sceptics very well indeed. Let’s have a lot more from him before he is committed.

  2. rukidding says:

I think all the other Climate Commissioner’s should be asked if they believe in Gaia and if they do what form our sacrifice to Gaia should take.

  3. Baldrick says:

Simon, I think you should post a censorship rating with this video:

May contain traces of nut job!
May contain content inappropriate for human understanding
    May contain extreme comedic acts
    May contain mindless dribble

  4. There’s no news in any of this.
Tim Foolery has always been a raving fruitcake. This is but the latest installment.
It should be recommended viewing for everyone – your tax dollars at work.
As someone said – “the gift that keeps giving”.

  5. So much for separation between church and state.
Oh wait, I thought Abbott was involved. (/sarc)

  6. rukidding says:

On Bolt’s blog today on this there were two people who said he made perfect sense and that the rest of us through our ignorance just do not understand what he is saying. This sounds a lot like born again christians and talking in toungues. It seems we have some very dangerous people out there.

    • It seems we have some very dangerous people out there.

Not to mention the ones that are in government.

    • Looks its ok not to be able to understand what he is saying, we can’t all be bright.

There has to be some less intelligents people around, or Andrew Bolt wouldn’t have an audience.

      • Wow, you must be really proud of that comment. You posted it three times (the other two ended up in the trash). I wonder who is the one suffering from a lack of critical thought here, when they can be taken in by Flannery’s nonsense.

        • Donitsky says:

“ACM exists to communicate an alternative viewpoint to the one-sided presentation of climate change issues provided by the Australian government and mainstream media.”

So do you really think that your web site is doing this by attacking people in this way, and promoting all these other persons points of views?

        • You were the one that attacked the intelligence of the readers on this blog, remember? If you believe in AGW fine, you can go and read Fairfax press, watch/listen to the ABC, read thousands of blogs promoting the same story. If you don’t like what you read here, it’s simple – don’t visit, OK? If you have something constructive to add to the debate, great, but if you’re just here to attack my readers’ intelligence, then don’t bother.

  7. Laurie Williams says:

The fact that he supports a leftist system that seeks to destroy the things which he claims to favour is amazing.

  8. David Davidovics says:

Utterly stunned. I picked up my jaw off the keyboard a few times.

    Less competent? Speak for yourself!

Part of a super organism? Count me out!

He talks about solving the problems of the world like its elementary level math and yet is many of the very things he supports that will cause more suffering and violence.

Reminds me a little bit of our own David Suzuki comparing the human race to maggots. Easy to find on Utube…

  9. Blindness is a consequence of his frenzied behaviour.

  10. Confusious says:

Yet another Snake Oil salesman along the line of Al Gore and Garnaut. No natural science background whatsoever, being an antropologist. Just as little clue as that perenial Labor flower Garnaut. Both feeding deep in the taxpayer funded Gillards through.
