London museum goes FULL WOKE with Extinction Rebellion exhibits

Hopefully these XR morons will go extinct before the rest of us

UPDATE: Read Julie Burchill on the internal cracks forming in XR here (PDF). [2 Aug – link corrected!]

Ah well, with luck they will GO BROKE too.

The V&A has decided in its infinite wisdom to celebrate the unwashed, dog-on-a-string, ecoterrorist organisation Extinction Rebellion, by showcasing a collection of its artefacts. Hopefully they will all have been washed and sterilised first so as not to constitute a health hazard…

The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) will host two Extinction Rebellion exhibitions praising the protest movement which brought London to a standstill for creating “welcoming spaces for all”.

Banners, stamps, flags, posters and photographs will be displayed at the V&A’s Rapid Response Collecting Gallery in South Kensington this weekend to showcase the group’s “coherent and impactful visual identity” and “do-it together” attitude.

A high-vis jacket worn by a child protester is among the items on show at the second exhibition, which runs for six months from August at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green.

The world famous museum said it wants to show how Extinction Rebellion “engages with young families” and “creates spaces that are welcoming for all”. (source)

Welcoming for all except ordinary people trying to go about their business without being impeded by a bunch of totalitarian environmental extremists.

Utterly mad.

Latest idiotic buzz-phrase from the UN: “Climate apartheid”

Alston

As the climate scare continues to lose traction with the vast majority of ordinary people who are simply getting on with life, the hysteria becomes ever more extreme. Embarrassingly enough, this guy is an Aussie, and seemingly has no qualms about attaching one of the most politically charged words in our vocabulary to the issue of climate change:

The world is increasingly at risk of “climate apartheid”, where the rich pay to escape heat and hunger caused by the escalating climate crisis while the rest of the world suffers, a report from a UN human rights expert has said.

Philip Alston, UN special rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, said the impacts of global heating are likely to undermine not only basic rights to life, water, food, and housing for hundreds of millions of people, but also democracy and the rule of law. (source)

But according to Alston, there are “some positive developments”, including, apparently, the actions of eco-terrorist group Extinction Rebellion, and the contribution of bizarre parental plaything Greta Thunberg.

I think that really tells you all you need to know…
