The Climate Commission
The hopelessly politicised Climate Commission, the function of which was apparently to spin government propaganda as “science”, is to be abolished, along with a raft of other pointless climate organisations.

Time for Tim Flannery and Will Steffen to pack their bags and ship out. The party’s over, as The Australian reports:
PUBLIC servants are drawing up plans to collapse 33 climate change schemes run by seven departments and eight agencies into just three bodies run by two departments under a substantial rewrite of the administration of carbon abatement schemes under the Coalition.
Coalition climate action spokesman Greg Hunt briefed public servants on the dramatic restructure of the federal climate change bureaucracy before the election was called and yesterday confirmed the Coalition was committed to proceeding with the plan.
Under the simplification, the Department of the Environment and the Department of Resources and Energy will run all of the climate change programs under the Coalition’s direct-action program.
The move is forecast to save the government tens of millions of dollars. The Coalition budgeted for savings of $7 million this financial year rising to $13m in each of the next three years for a saving of $45m across the budget period.
The changes will see all carbon abatement schemes run by three bodies: the Australian Renewable Energy Agency, which will be overseen by the Department of Resources and Energy; and the Clean Energy Regulator and Low Carbon Australia, which will be run by the Department of the Environment.
The Climate Change Authority, which sets emissions caps, the Climate Commission, which has conducted research into climate change, and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, which funds renewable technologies, are all slated to be abolished under the plans. (source)

I agree. The ringleaders are easy but the followers are more entrenched. And having had to pay for their installation, then pay for their warped concept of reality, taxpayers will now be paying for their departure.
To completely rid Australia of the fraud of AGW WE NEED TO RID Australia of the UN Treaty, Sustainable Development Agenda 21, the Agenda for the 21st Century, AGW is in Sec 9. Human Settlements is in Sec 7. A21 is Creeping Communism. It is running rampant through all Governments State and Federal and all Local Councils. We have never been told about it or voted on it.
It is absolutely critical to purge all aspects of the Agenda 21 cancer. It is pure evil and anti-human.
And it was only yesterday that Flannery was blubbering on about as the world’s climate and oceans become warmer, jellyfish species from across the globe are spreading quickly and vastly.

Tim Flannery is a famous alarmist in Australia and it landed him a plumb job but none of his predictions came true! Consequently he has been in hiding for many years and the public has not heard a peep, a single squeak and his face has disappeared from sight and has not been seen in any popular media, yet he is head of the Climate Commission!
Sound familiar? I can think of an ig-Nobel prize winner who suffered the same fate which is in fact utterly emblematic of the entire fiasco. However in certain circles these charlatans are lauded as heroes and we need to be wary of what they might do when cornered (by reality).

Congratulations mates. Hopefully we in the US can prevent our leaders from ever starting down this path. But I’m doubtful. We have a bunch of politicians too heavily investing in carbon reduction.
It’s not clear to me that the Greg Hunt “direct action” plan is necessarily an improvement.

Clear thought? Al Gore & his ilk? Maybe we can get rid of this nonsense when B.O. hits the dirt in 2016. Until then, logic/science is the least of their concerns!
